Lush Life: Golden Wonder Bath Bomb

Lush describes this scent as a luxurious champagne soak with soft citrus: an uplifting blend of sweet orange, lime and cognac oils.

This little golden gift box put on quite the show. The waters morphed from gold to green then aqua. Swirls of shimmering golden mica dust sparkled in the water, and then came the tiny gold stars. What was a feast for the eyes was less so for the nose. The scent was a very light powdery orange. Almost like a fancy Tang. I did not dislike it, but was a tad disappointed with the fragrance. On the whole I enjoyed the experience but would add scented bubbles or salts to the bomb.

Anything fun happening in your tub?

  4. At least this bath bomb was pretty! It looks like a pretty sea or a nice lagoon or water from a fountain in a hotel. But fancy Tang? Yuck! Maybe I have a bias against Tang since it reminds me of awful Girl Scouts camping trips...*shivers*

    1. It *does* look like a lagoon! Perhaps it won't smell that way to you. My sister used one last night and adored it.

You were in Girl Scouts?! That always kinda fascinated me. I was too introverted to want to do group activities like that when I was younger (not that it was offered to me) but it seemed like it could either be an awesome experience.... Or not. I hope yours was the former.
