FinchBerry Soaps

These beautiful blue soaps were gifted to me by my sisters Heather and Lindsey for my birthday. They picked them up in a small gift shop in Siesta Key, Florida while on a bachelorette weekend party. FinchBerry soaps have a website here for online ordering. According to their site, FinchBerry soaps are all natural and handmade in north Florida.  These soaps run $9 a piece.

Zanzi-Bar blends patchouli, plumeria, and sweet orange to create a refined soap scent that feels clean and lightly perfumed. Friction created a thick, fluffy lather that cleansed the skin nicely. The soap rinsed clean, leaving my skin refreshed but a touch dry. Nothing that a little nightly lotion routine wouldn't cure at any rate.

Sea to Old City is fragrant of foam filled salty ocean tides, green slick seaweed, and coastal pine forests. This beauty was my favorite for unique factor. It looks like Poseidon's playground with the azure layers, foaming crest of waves on top, floating seaweed and sea salt tang. The lather produced was more thin and bubbly but equally enjoyable. It definitely had a different feel than the previous soap. More mineral somehow. I still required lotioning afterwards, but did not mind.

Discovering FinchBerry soaps was a nice unexpected experience! Thank you sweet sisters. I found it cute that they picked these out (and something else too) that they knew I would want to blog about. <3

  1. I remember admiring this soapmaker while browsing Etsy a few years ago. Always good to read about stores selling handmade. Happy Sunday.

Btw I was going check out the Handmade in Florida sale to see pictures but they're not coming up on my tablet. I was hoping to see what was available, will have to try the laptop later.

    1. Yes! Small gift shops can be really fun to explore.

I thought I may have read on Facebook that Handmade in Florida sold out of their restock in only moments! They must be booming. I keep seeing their beautiful soap pics being posted and they make me curiouser and curiouser. (Now I sound like Alice- about to go down another soapy lather filled nicely scented rabbit hole).

  2. I have never ordered soap before, but these look so fun! Maybe when I get to ordering wax again in January I'll order some soap, too. I also loved your RG order post. Can't wait to try her wax this coming year! :)
