Awaiting:

Miss:
Trying to order a ding dang pottery coffee mug from either Ox and Otter or Elan Pottery this past month. Both times, struck out.

Low:
A couple low weeks for Adam. Maybe some sadness, frustration, anxiety that was weighing on him was naturally felt by all. I am happy he seems to be doing better now. It is hard when you know there is nothing to do to help but simply be there.

High:
Vacation for sure. Getting to make memories with my family. The girls are growing so fast that I know these times are fleeting. I am trying to bask in their glow as long as I can.

How was your July? Any fun times? New books or shows or music? Eating or drinking anything exciting? Do tell!

  1. I don't even really know how my July was, perhaps a sort of cautiously neutral. Ludwig was my obsession for part of the month, but I've set him aside for now. The barn rebuild has been the big thing around here all month. But as this month ends the most exciting thing is that we're just spitting distance away from fall now!

    1. Neutral is ok. Hoping August will be good for you. The promise of fall... the upcoming changes (for the better!!! I hope) and maybe some new books to read. And a new fur baby to buy treats for and spoil.

  2. WAH-TER. Oh my gosh, I drink so much water - it really does make a huge difference (of the good variety) when it comes to weight loss. Also makes your hair and skin look great. But I never. stop. peeing. I'm up every three hours in the night.

Glad you enjoyed/are enjoying your holiday - don't sweat the ride home, 'tis nothing you can do but (butt?) sit there, hopefully find some fun side-of-the-road pit stops. :) See you back in the real world soon!

    1. I don't think I drank enough water or ate enough good foods on vacation and boy am I feeling it. I have some edema in my feet and lower legs right now and trying to rehydrate. Tomorrow is the first step in the right direction. Like you, I have a bladder the size of a walnut and I need to pee every few minutes (it feels like at any rate). The middle of the night ones are the worst.

The alarm is set once again. It was a nice two months off, but back to the grindstone. How was your July?
